INKtober 2020 – Bugs Bunny as a Big Baby

I had a blast drawing Bugs Bunny today! I cannot believe how easy he is to draw, I drew Bugs Bunny a few years ago as a commission and found him easy to draw then as well. I truly believe he is so easy because I grew up watching him on television nearly every single day. Bugs Bunny’s image is burned into my brain.

I cannot recall the first time I watched Bugs Bunny on television. I look back on my life and that screwy rabbit was always there. I do recall always loving the older cartoons. The older the better. I also recall always loving Bugs being pitted against Elmer Fudd over any other nemesis. Elmer had a way of making you feel sorry for him… but just a little. You felt sorry enough to care, but you still wanted Bugs Bunny to reign triumphant.

The news broke today that Tiny Toon Adventures is getting a reboot. It is so exciting to see so many favorites getting a fresh restart. At the same time, it is disappointing to see so many great webcomics… like Charmy’s Army… not getting an animated opportunity. One cannot get the opportunity when one does not make a run. It is time to start developing my animated series!!!

I hope the series gets the respect it deserves. The original series only lasted two seasons and was nixed in favor of a new show… The Animaniacs. Good trade-off I guess if they truly could only keep one show.
