Davy Reads on a Kid’s Level in Today’s Comic Strip.

Davy reads on a kid's level in today's comic strip.

Posting a little late!

I am so behind after my appearance at Bell County Comic Con. What a show!!! I sold out of a large selection of Mini Prints and a total of three pages of Sketch Cards. The last three hours of the show on Sunday saw a surge in sales for my sketch cover art. I sold five as the show was winding down. This scenario with my sketch covers selling as a show ends is a crazy trend.

The good news is that I crushed my record for sales at a two-day comic con. Actually, crushed it against any three-day show as well. Both single days at Bell County demolished any single day’s sales I have ever experienced. I cannot thank you all enough for coming out and investing in me and my dream with your purchases.

The bad news is that I have to kick it into high gear for this weekend’s show in New Braunfels. I have nothing to sell at Hill Country Comic Con. I cannot get any new original art completed by then, but I am working hard to print and cut about 800 mini print cards. I will be debuting a NEW set!!! The Scooby Doo set of original cards sold out of all but two cards, so I will launch the set as a Print Series for a limited run. Come get your set while you can!

Are you coming out to see me? I sure hope so! If you are, be sure and check out Room B’s Panel at 1:00 pm on Saturday. I will be one of three artists who will be sitting on the Indie Artists discussion. It will be a ton of fun!

Gotta run…

I have so many cards to cut. I need to get to bed early so I am ready to pull an all-nighter tomorrow after work. Wish me luck!!!
