As with every comic strip, Davy goes the extra mile for his readers and continues the story for everyone’s amusement…
So… WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?!?
“Um, is this taco from the same taco wagon that made you so sick last week?”, Wendy interrogates Zana, who looks a bit angry in response to the inquiry.
“Yes!”, exclaims Zana. “The guy running the “Taco Swell” taco wagon is quite the looker”.
“You do know they call that wagon “Taco Swell” because the food is so gross that it makes your tummy swell up to three times its size, right?”, asks Wendy.
I agree that the food is quite disgusting”, admits Zana, “But John is so freaking cute”.
“Holy macca noodle”. mutters Wendy. “Tis truly matters of the heart! Tell me more of this John, server of tacos.”
“Oh! John is SO much more than a server of tacos!”, says Zana with a love-sick grin spreading across her face.
“Really?” adds Wendy.
“Oh yeah”, says Zana. “He maketh the tacos as well!”
“And that is all you know about this gentleman”, says a disappointed Wendy. “Is this young bestowed upon another?”
“I have no idea”. admits Zana.
“Why not?”, asks Wendy.
“Well, it’s because I have no idea what you mean by the word bestowed”, admits a confused Zana.
“Is he dating someone else?” asks Wendy.
“Oh!”, says Zana. “No, he is definitely not dating anyone”.
“Well then, you have a chance with this server of tacos”. says an excited Wendy who is grinning ear to ear with the thoughts of Zana finding her true love.
“Oh, no way it heck!” exclaims Zana. “He’s married”.
Wendy slaps her own face, facepalm. “Why di thou lead me on to believe you can a crush on this man”, asks Wendy.
“Oh, but I do”, says Zana. “This is the best kind of crush. You know it won’t lead anywhere, so you just enjoy the moment.”
“Wow…” mumbles Wendy. “I gotta run”.
Where dost thou run off to?”, asks Zana.
“Gonna grab a taco”, admits a blushing Wendy.
Zana storms off in a huff. “I saw him first!”, yells Zana.
End scene.
