So… WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
The next day, Charmy meets up with Turtle for his first jujitsu lesson. Weaver tags along for a laugh because he is quite sure Charmy will end up hurting himself.
“Why did you want to meet behind the fieldhouse?”, asks Turtle.
“I did not want anyone seeing us”, says Charmy. These techniques are top secret. I just don’t give out lessons for free to prying eyes. Speaking of which, where is my seventy bucks?”
“I thought you said the lesson was fifty bucks”, Turtle responds with a bit of anger.
“No-o-o-o….” Charmy replies. “I said to bring at least fifty bucks as a down payment. You can just owe me the other thirty”/
“Twenty”, says Turtle.
“Okay, you drive a hard bargain, but give me fifty now and twenty later”, confirms Charmy.
Turtle hands over some cash and the lesson begins.
“Okay, the first rule of jujitsu is rules are like bones…”, Charmy informs Turtle. “Both are made to be broken”.
“Wow!” exclaims Turtle. “Will I be able to break bones?”
“Oh, heck yes”, says Charmy. “I will guarantee you that you will break a few bones. Mostly in your hands”.
“Wait. What?” asks Turtle. “You mean I will break MY bones?”
“You have to crack a few eggs to make an omelet”, admits Charmy. “You have to break a few bones to learn to chop through a two-by-four”.
Charmy points to a two-by-four tabled along two center blocks.
“You know what?” asks Turtle. “I am a lover, not a fighter”.
Turtle walks off as Charmy grins.
Charmy turns to Weaver and admits, “That was a close call. The only chop I know ANYTHING about is a pork chop”.
Charmy and Weaver begin walking off into the distance.
“Oh yeah?” asks Weaver. “Where does a pork chop come from?”
“Duh!” says Charmy… “From a grill”.
“No, from a pig”, says Weaver.
“You are so stupid”, says Charmy. “Bacon comes from pigs”.
Charmy and weaver vanish into the horizon
