I loved watching cartoons when I was a kid. When my sons were born, I relived my childhood through my kids by watching cartoons with them as they grew up. The cartoons that aired during their young years were revolutionary. Compared to the cartoons that the networks cranked out in the seventies and eighties, these new cartoons from Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon looked and felt like masterpieces.

My kids grew up on such classics as “Ed, Edd and Eddy”, “Spongebob Squarepants”, “Powerpuff Girls”, “Cow and Chicken”, “The Animaniacs”, and “Dexter’s Lab”. Other standouts were “Samurai Jack” and “Avatar – The Last Air Bender” I grew up with cheesy “Super Friend”, “Grape Ape”, and “Jabberjaw”.

Out of all the amazing cartoons that emerged for my two sons, my favorite was “Courage the Cowardly Dog”. The show was so twisted. I was surprised at how much my two boys loved the show. I figured the show would be way over their heads. I also assumed the oddness would make the show a bit boring for them, but they ate up “Courage The Cowardly Dog”. So, today I pay tribute to this amazing show which plays out in my happy memories of my two sons.

Please SHARE to support my dream. The more people who see my posts, the better my chances are of succeeding in this highly completive field of cartooning.
